She originates from Scotland, Great Britain and has lived in Rancho Mirage for almost 20 years. She became an American citizen in 2003.

Linda has extensive experience of working with children at all levels of Elementary, Middle and High School where she has taught French and has been a school counselor.
She completed her internship at Family Services of the Desert, a non-profit counseling agency in Indio, California where she worked with at-risk children and families, individuals, couples and groups.
Currently Linda Hyman offers her professional services at Family Services and her private practice in Rancho Mirage where she works with children, adolescents, individuals, couples and families.
She is a Medi-Cal provider and is more than happy to provide an invoice for therapy received upon request for those clients with a PPO. Linda Hyman's fee is $100.00 per therapeutic hour. Sliding scale fee available.
